The Pumpkin Patch at Kessmans

The second day of our awesome Fall weekend started with a hayride at Kessman’s Farm in Patterson.  The tractor takes you out to the pumpkin patch – and there were plenty of pumpkins!  As the tractor slowed to drop us back at the farm store, my youngest almost fell off the tractor with excitement because Elmo and the Cookie Monster were waiting for the younger kids.  Then, we ran them through the inflatable haunted house and the haybale maze.

We then hit Sauro’s Deli in downtown Patterson for lunch, sitting on the tables and chairs in front of their establishment.  After we were full on deil sandwiches, chips and Gatorade, we then walked across the parking lot to visit Sybil Ludington’s gravesite – seeing that we had just attend a lecture on her (among other things) the day before.

To end the day, we took a drive up to Pawling’s Lakeside Park and let the kids run around on the playground.  Lakeside is an absolutely beautiful piece of property.
